Summer, Week 1 (Part 2)

The official summer kick-off continued with a few days visiting my sister Chelsea in San Francisco with (again) my traveling friend Chels. We had a great time, as is always the case when visiting Chelsea. That girl has a knack for finding cool things to do--even when she herself was still suffering from a recent case of food poisoning.

Here are a few highlights of our time:

We visited Lands End, which is a stunning viewpoint and trail along the coast. There was even a cave that led to more outstanding views.

Later that evening, we enjoyed the city view from the Grandviews Lounge at the Hyatt at Union Square.
The next day, we hit the town and had delicious pastry and coffee from La Boulange French Bakery after hitting the clearance racks from Ambiance. (Chels and I both bought beautiful $100 sweaters for $18! Gotta love that!)
We had a quick stop at the Palace of Fine Arts and were amazed by the beautiful architecture, then headed back to Chelsea's apartment for a little rest before...
...bundling up for a Giants game! (My poor sis was still feeling lousy, so she needed to take it easy.)
And because Chelsea had never been to Ghirardelli Square, our final stop had to be this so we could enjoy the amazing brownie sundae!
We had such a fun time and even received the typical San Francisco souvenir...a parking ticket :) Oh well--it was worth it!
